Strategy begins before certainty

Most people wait for clarity before acting. But the best strategists understand that clarity is a luxury — and often an illusion.

The real skill is not in reading the map once everything is charted. It is in choosing a direction when the terrain is still forming.

In business, in technology, in life — the ones who move first are not the ones who know more. They are the ones who are comfortable with knowing less.

Strategy is not about eliminating uncertainty. It is about building a framework that works despite it. It means making reversible decisions quickly, irreversible ones slowly, and knowing the difference between the two.

Waiting for perfect information is itself a strategic choice — and usually a losing one. By the time the picture is clear, the opportunity has already moved on.

The question is not whether you have enough data. The question is whether you have enough conviction.
